Specific Goddesses:
Frigg. The wife of Odin. She is the Goddess of the household and of married women.. Her name has been used in a slang term which refers to sexual intercourse.
Ostara, The Goddess of fertility who is celebrated at the time of the Spring equinox. She was known as Eostre, the Goddess of Spring, from whom we have derived the word Easter. Some regard her as Mother Nature Ostara's symbols rebirth renewal and growth, the female femininity, Nurturing.
Freya or Freyja. The Goddess of love, beauty and sexuality, She charges the Valkyries who take the souls of the dead soldiers to Valhalla. She symbols, love, caring, and remembrance. All things good.
Skadhi. The Goddess of independence, the country Scandinavia was named after her. She symbols; Death,survival,strength, innovation, hunting and fishing.
Birkana. A Goddess of Motherhood and Nurturing. both mental and physical. Sha has regenerative power.
