Bacon

.... In some parts of Europe and the USA bacon is credited with certain healing powers, but only if it was stolen, rather than acquired legtimately..... Purloined bacon is particularly valued for its effectiveness against warts, which will disappear when rubbed with a slice or two.

..... It was used in the late 1800's as a cure. for Fever and used for constipation, or ease the bowels ,if one had hemaroids.

..... It is also said in wives tale, that when cooking bacon and it curls up in the frying pan, a new lover is about to arrive in ones life.
